Greek facial recognition access control SMT production line, low-cost upgrade solution for small space implemented
Facial recognition access control system is currently an intelligent security product with a wide range of application scenarios. It is no longer limited to access control scenarios in residential buildings and commercial office buildings, but has also penetrated into a large number of different vertical fields: many enterprises use it to complete employee attendance check-in and conference room access control; Many campuses use it for dormitory access management, teaching building identity verification, and exam room identity verification; In the industrial intelligent park, it also undertakes diversified functions such as visitor identity registration and facial recognition payment for the park canteen, and the market demand has maintained stable growth in the long term.
The core business of the Greek local customer served by H.F.X this time is the production of facial recognition access control systems. This enterprise has only been established and operated for a few years, and has been using desktop level SMT small batch production equipment to complete product manufacturing. With the rapid increase in order volume in the local market, the production capacity of the original desktop production line can no longer keep up with the pace of order delivery, and customers urgently need to complete the upgrade and transformation of the SMT production line.
But the customer's production area is planned within the office, and the available space is very limited. At the same time, there are clear constraints on the upgrade budget, making it impossible to directly purchase large fully automated production lines. Our engineering team has tailored a cost-effective compact SMT production line solution for our clients based on their space conditions, budget range, and current production capacity requirements. The entire line consists of a semi-automatic solder paste template printing machine, two 0.5-meter short connecting conveyors, and a small reflow soldering furnace. All equipment is compact in size and can be flexibly distributed according to the available space in the office, fully adapting to the client's special site limitations.
After this compact SMT production line is put into operation, it only requires 2-4 operators to cooperate and run for 10 hours a day. The monthly production capacity can reach about 500000 units, which is a significant leap compared to the previous desktop production line's monthly production capacity of only 5000 units. In addition, H.F.X has also planned a phased long-term upgrade path for customers, matching the company's subsequent growth pace:
The first stage of lightweight upgrade is to install a mini PCB board machine at the front end of the reflow soldering furnace for the customer. The signal is connected to the reflow soldering furnace through SMEMA standard interface, and the operator does not need to manually feed the PCBA into the furnace body piece by piece, directly reducing the manpower input of one position and further reducing the labor cost of daily production.
In the second stage of expansion and upgrading, after the subsequent relocation of customers to a larger dedicated production plant, the existing equipment can be directly expanded and upgraded to a semi-automatic fully linked SMT production line. At that time, the entire production line only needs one operator to complete the full process operation, and the manpower demand can be directly reduced from 2-3 people to 1 person. The overall production capacity can be further increased by about 20%, achieving a second leap in efficiency.
In the third stage of quality upgrading, with further expansion of production capacity in the future, SPI solder paste detection equipment and AOI optical detection equipment can be added to the existing SMT production line to establish a full chain quality control system, which controls the surface mount welding quality of each motherboard from the source, greatly reduces the defect rate, and ensures the long-term operation stability of facial recognition access control products.
